At one point in our lives, we start to notice subtle changes, maybe it’s feeling a bit more tired than usual, subtle aches here and there or noticing a few extra pounds that seem to have appeared out of nowhere.

For many women, these shifts coincide with the hormonal changes of perimenopause or menopause, natural phases that can bring its own unique set of challenges. At Thrivage, we provide guidance and support to help you navigate this transition — and the many chapters beyond — with clarity, confidence, and strength.

Preventing health issues before they arise is the aim of our Healthy Aging Coaching, which focuses on daily habits to extend Healthspan: the years lived in good health or your quality of life, not only the length we live = Lifespan.

Why does Healthspan matter?

Keeping good health as we age is very individual and can be rather complex. The health landscape can look increasingly bleak and there are many health inequalities.

 

Although people were living longer, living longer has now stalled and we are now living more years but often in poor health. Healthspan focuses on the quality of those years, the ability to enjoy life to the fullest, pursue your passions, and engage in meaningful activities without the limitations of poor health.

This approach emphasises proactive strategies like a whole-food, plant-predominant diet, regular physical activity, quality sleep, stress management, and strong social connections. â€‹
